She was the daughter of John Clan GRAYSON and Sarah "Sally" CARTER. Mary (Polly) GRAYSON married Bryant COBB, son of David COBB and Martha BRYANT, on 19 July 1815 at Shilo Church, Madison County, Alabama; According an entry in the "Alabama Soldiers Of The Revolution, War Of 1812, and Indian Wars," the marriage between Bryant Cobb and Polly Gracem (Grayson) took place on 22 July 1815 ¹.² As of 22 July 1815,her married name was COBB. Mary (Polly) GRAYSON died on 25 April 1846 at Madison County, Alabama, at age 50.
