William F. PRICE was the son of Dr. Charles W. PRICE and Mary F. MOORE. William F. PRICE was Joined Colonel Scott's Louisiana Regiment, was in several battles, and whilst near Charleston, Tenn., the regiment moved one night to meet the enemy. He was in advance, and as he passed a comrade who had his gun lying across his lap, it went off and the ball went through his thigh, injuring an artery; and he lived only a few days. He was buried in Charleston.1
