Will Cobb had his weaknesses..., I am told. It was an accepted fact that he was supposed to fill his Father's unexpired term as Judge, and, because of this, a few of his opponents waved a bottle under his nose, and after a few drinks, he was easily persuaded to accompany friends out of Vernon at the time of the appointment - Oliver Young's Father was appointed Judge. ² He was buried at Sulligent City Cemetery, Sulligent, Alabama. He was born on 27 July 1856 at Lowndes County, Mississippi. He was the son of Alexander COBB and Priscilla Mildred MURRAY. William Arthur COBB died on 17 November 1918 at age 62.
