     Stancil COBB A copy of the records of the orphan's court of Madison County (Case no. 287) establishes David Cobb's death shortly before 26 August 1839, when his estate was settled. Interestingly, Stancil was not mentioned in the will, suggesting that he might not have been a son of David's afterall. He was born on 24 July 1792 at North Carolina. He was the son of David COBB and Martha BRYANT. Stancil COBB married Mila REED circa 1815. Stancil COBB died on 31 August 1851 at Robertson County, Texas, at age 59.
